Il film, segue il riscatto di Samuel, un ragazzo che non ha avuto nulla dalla vita ma
che, passando attraverso il carcere minorile e grazie anche all'amore per una
ragazza, riesce a portare alla vittoria la squadra di rugby nella quale milita: una
conquista ancor più importante perché il suo allenatore è anche l'assistente sociale
che lo segue. Il rugby come metafora della vita e della voglia di tornare a sperare, in
una pellicola dove lo sport fa da sfondo ad un racconto di formazione e di sentimenti.
